Workshop on polarisation with high school students in Tartu
The team from the University of Tartu has conducted the first workshop with high school students.
The workshop took place on 18 March with students from Hugo Treffner Gymnasium in Tartu. It was led by Alar Kilp and attracted 27 participants.
Feedback from the workshop shows that 70% of participants rated the explanation of the game rules with the highest score (5), and 84% of participants indicated that they enjoyed playing the game.
According to the qualitative feedback, participants mentioned that it was interesting to see in practice how polarization occurs and how extreme views are formed.More workshops in Estonian high schools are planned for March and April.
