Pilot tests in Groningen: water or paperclips?

In April, Wander Jager and Shaoni Wang from the University of Groningen tested the game not only with university students but also with a new audience – high school students. The tests were also more complex than previous ones, as participants played not only the initial version but also an updated one, with a new name (and format): The Paperclip Game of Opinions. The paper version of the opinion ruler/slider was the brainchild of Anna Baczko-Dombi, and it proved to be a real game-changer, in terms of clarity and practicality, but also in its reflection of the game’s theme.
