ACTIPLEX at the International Tool Fair: Green Futures

Last week the ACTIPLEX educational tools were presented to an international audience at the XX International Tool Fair: Green Futures organised in Sopot.

International Tool Fair was organised for the 20th time, this time in Sopot and it is an exceptional event: instead of traditional presentations it’s an intense series of workshops, educational games, with a bit of role-play and a tool market. This event is also interdisciplinary, bringing together teachers, trainers and other educational enthusiasts from various fields. This edition brought together almost 100 educational practitioners, trainers, teachers, NGO and educational company founders from three continents.

Agata Komendant-Brodowska presented the results of the project: the course, the simulation tool, and the game, during the Tool Market and there was a big interest in the topic of growing divides and teaching/learning about the mechanisms related to this process. The game was the one that caught most attention: teachers and trainers from different domains mentioned the need for interactive face-to-face educational tools that bring serious topics to the classroom in an entertaining and engaging way.
