Team meeting in Tartu

Between 24th and 26th of September the whole team met in the beautiful city of Tartu. We discussed the upcoming launches – as we are launching both the online course on Futurelearn platform and the course that will be available on the digital platform of the University of Tartu very soon (October/November). We worked together on filling in some small gaps in these courses and plan many small tasks that always come up in the weeks before the launch.
The game-based workshop built around “The Paperclip Game of Opinions” was the topic of day two of the meeting and we worked together on the instructions and discussed how to make the game user-friendly for academic teachers, and also secondary-school teachers. It turned out that over 200 students, secondary-school students and academic teachers have already participated in our polarisation game!
And last, but not least, we had time to spend time with each other face to face, which is always great when we work so intensely together online. And as the main storyline of the course revolves around a bridge, we sailed down the Emajõgi river.
