Presentation about innovative teaching at the sociological congress in Białystok

This time a more general look on the project and its results – Agata Komendant-Brodowska, also on behalf of Anna Baczko-Dombi and Katarzyna Abramczuk (University of Warsaw) presented a paper on a sociological congress in Białystok that deals with integrating online teaching into everyday educational practices of academic teachers.
In short: the key idea is to focus on students’ activities and not on the concepts that “we want to teach about” and designing various classroom and online activities accordingly. Seems obvious but it is not that easy as teachers we often tend to think about teaching more than about how students actually learn. Focusing on the latter helps integrate different materials that we would not consider otherwise.
